Fernhill is a family-owned home services company in Columbus. We are big enough to answer the phone at 2 am and small enough that the owner still reads every review.
A story of growth
Where it all began
Dan Whitaker opened Fernhill with one van, a plumbing license and a promise to quote every job before starting it.
Heating and cooling
We added HVAC after customers kept asking us to look at their furnaces. Our first two NATE-certified technicians joined that winter.
Electrical and a new home
An electrical division and a 12,000 sq ft shop on Kenny Road let us stock vans for nearly any job.
Upfront prices online
We published our price ranges so homeowners can see the cost before calling. Today 42 technicians cover Central Ohio.
Seventeen years in Central Ohio
The difference is in the details
Committed to clean, careful work since 2009.
Local and family-run
Owned and operated in Columbus. You talk to people who live here.
Licensed for each trade
HVAC, plumbing and electrical licenses, held by the people doing the work.
On time, or $50 back
If we miss your arrival window, the first $50 is on us.
Prices that don’t move
The price you approve is the price you pay. No surprise line items.
